Welcome!
Welcome to FRC Team 131, CHAOS's website! We are a year round FIRST FRC team that competes at several competitions throughout the year, and we do a variety of demos and outreach opportunities. This year, CHAOS was the #1 seed at the Granite State Regional in Machester, New Hampshire and was the regional runner-up. We have lots to share with our community as well as many years of history and dedication to FIRST. Take a look around and enjoy the media, resources, and just pure CHAOS we spread. See you on the field!
News Updates
1.14.12 Ahh the annual lull of the strategy decision. As C.H.A.O.S. starts week 2 of build season we are excited to welcome over 8 new members to the team! Keep up the C.H.A.O.S pride! As the build season progresses you'll see updates and resources posted here. Also, C.H.A.O.S is happy to announce that we will be attending both the Granite State Regional and the Boston Regional. Watch out Boston, here comes C.H.A.O.S! Good luck to all teams throughout the next 5 weeks!
9.6.11 The new season is picking up as we prepare for a local event, Bras Across the River. This is an annual event "is a celebration of life – championing those who have beat breast cancer, supporting loved ones fighting it, and remembering those who have succumbed to it." (brasacrosstheriver.com) C.H.A.O.S. is proud to a part of such an event and will be giving demos and driving around our favorite chainsawing robot throughout the event. As the event draws nearer, our robot is starting to primp and prepare himself. Like all of ours, his summer must come to an end, but he's alright with it because giving demos, seeing people's faces light up when they watch him reach up to score a tube, and enlightening the people of Manchester is what he loves to do.
8.20.11 We have been very busy the past few days planning for several events coming up. As our seniors start to work towards a senior meeting to head off our new school year, the team will soon be in full swing! Our cute little robot is ready to come out of summer hybernation (which he only had about a month of) and is ready for a year full of demos and new students! Remember to come check out C.H.A.O.S. at freshman orientation on August 25th and sign up for this year's season. C.H.A.O.S. is a great way to learn new things, meet new friends, and have loads of fun!
7.22.11 After a long hot weekend at the Air Show, we are proud to have some of the most dedicated and hardworking team members! Thank you to everyone, students and parents, who came out to run the booths! Although our super pretzels didn't make an appearance, we still had fun. As always, thank you to the Kelsos for organizing this year's event and for spending their weekend selling refreshments with us. You're dedication is always much appretiated! :)
7.6.11 C.H.A.O.S. is happy to announce that we will be attending the Portsmouth Air Show at the Pease Air Force Base again this year! For all of you who were looking forward to the return of the "SUUper Pretzels", you are in luck! It was a great opportunity and expirence but lots of hard work last year and we are pleased to have the opportunity again this year. Come out to the air show and support C.H.A.O.S. while getting to see some pretty cool aerobatics too!
6.11.11 As the school year ends and gradutation is upon us, we would like to say goodbye to all our awesome seniors! Thank you guys for showing us the ropes and leaving a great team of capable students to carry on the C.H.A.O.S. tradition. We know all of you had a great time and will always remember all those good times flexing lexan to make Mr. Kelso mad or zooming around in the rolley chairs in 525 or winning the Engineering Inspiration Award 2 years in a row and basically being awesome for four years! Congrats boys, we will miss you Mike, Riley, Nate, Dillon, Steven, and Taylor!
5.22.11
We just got home from BattleCry and it was sure a fun weekend! We came excited and ready to play at our third competition this season. The first day of qualifying matches we remained undeafted and went into the elimination matches 8-2-0. Unfortunately, we did not bring home the gold, but we fought gallantly. However, our fellow Manchester team, team 238 the Crusin Crusaders, earned a well deserved win. Congrats guys!
5.1.11 C.H.A.O.S. had a great time in St. Louis at the FIRST world Championship! We had a great time competing with teams all over the world, seeing friends from local teams, and getting to see all the great technology and ideas around us. Although we did not come home with a medal or trophy, we came home with improved knowledge and a good attitude. Congratulations to every team who made it to Einstien, especially team 177, the Bobcats, who are close to C.H.A.O.S.'s heart. See you all at BattleCry!
4.18.11

3.31.11 (kinda like 1/31!) We made this fabulous website!
