You have arrived at the official website of FIRST Robotics Team #131, C.H.A.O.S (Central High School And Our Supporters). Based in Manchester, New Hampshire our team is the robotics club of Central High School; We are a year-round team made of students, teachers, mentors, sponsors, and volunteers working together mainly in the national robotics program known as FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology). Each year, C.H.A.O.S. builds a robot for the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) in only six weeks; Later in the school year, our team participates in multiple robotics competitions using our newly designed robot - including River Rage, an off season competiton which our team co-organizes. (www.riverrage.org) Aditionally, our team participates in the Innovation FIRST vEx program, a smaller scale robotics competition in the early school year.

Team C.H.A.O.S. not only participates in robotics programs such as FRC and VEX, but our students and mentors actively volunteer with the FLL program (FIRST LEGO League), a program geared to middle schoolers using the LEGO Mindstorms system. Many of our members mentor FLL teams, and the entire team even organizes and runs two FLL competitions. Other volunteer efforts CHAOS is involved with include Freeman, a square dancing robot built for a local Manchester square daning society.

The efforts of team CHAOS would not be possible without our sponsors. Active Shock, now GKUSA, provides our working space, machine shop, and invaluable mentors. Our team is also sponsored financially by BAE systems, Rockwell Automation, and the NHSGC.
